Denise De Oliveira We are pleased to let everyone know that the special members meeting on May 16th appointed Denise De Oliveira as a part-time Assistant Pastor starting 30 May 2010.

There was a service of ordination for Denise on Wednesday 26 May at 8.00pm in the church building.

The ceremony was conducted by Mick Drake - our District Minister - and clergy from several other churches were present. Many church members and guests witnessed the occasion - and stayed back afterwards to enjoy refreshments.

Isn't it wonderful that it only took the time between two church members meetings (two months) for Denise's interview to be upgraded into to her being appointed as one of the Assistant Pastors of Greenford Baptist Church.

God is truly good.
