Prayer, like breathing, is fundamental to the Christian existence. At Greenford Baptist Church we have formed many prayer cells or Meeting Together groups which are groups of two or more people who get together whenever they can to pray for all sorts of needs—personal needs, the needs of other prayer cell members, the church, our neighbours, workmates, family, friends, the country, the world and so on. Breathing is a two way thing (in and out) and so is prayer—we not only ask God to intervene in situations, we also want to hear from Him. So we are listening to God as well as asking. |
